James Alemi Offers To Pay Najjera Elders Monthly Salary Until They Die

James Alemi, the founder National Automotive Training Institute Najjera, owner of Kampala Range Rovers Najjera and the East African Range Rover specialist has set a side £5000 (about Shs23,426,000) to help the helpless elders of Najjera community in Kampala.

Under James Alemi Elderly Fund, each elder will have Shs50,000 per month for the rest of their remaining years.

“Next year the elderly people of Najjera area will have a direct 50k per month pay from the James Alemi Elderly Fund. I will have an annual budget of £5000.I need 50 elderly people to begin with,” he said.

He adds that the person must physically walk to his office to collect the money every month as representatives or middlemen will jeopardize his work.

Beneficiaries of this fund must be 65 years to 100 years old and helpless. Registration begins 2nd of Jan 2020 at his garage in Najjera.

According to Alemi, the move is part of his company’s social corporate responsibility.

Alemi also started ‘Alemi Education Fund’ in Koboko where he sponsors bright students from his district from all the candidate classes and currently has two students under his Education Fund.

It must be noted that Alemi rehabilitated and skilled Mustafa Lule who attempted to commit suicide at Mabirizi complex in downtown Kampala in 2016. He trained him to become a mechanic.
