Monday Times: What kind of music do you do?

C Wyne: I do Afro, Reggae, Dancehall, as my first priorities but I am versatile to any style of music.

Monday Times; When did you start doing music?

C Wyne: Music is born within but taking it professional was in 2008 when I recorded ‘Cease and Sekkle’ To me its a calling I couldn’t resist.

Monday Times:  Tell us a bit about yourself

C Wyne: I am a musician who loves music. I am doing it professionally.

Monday Times: How did you come up with the name C Wyne?

C Wyne: I used to be called Coolie Wyne in my secondary school days but I changed it to C Wyne

Monday Times: Are you related to Bobi Wine?

C Wyne: I am not related to Bobi Wine but it is one of those DJs who inspired me.

Monday Times: What songs have you done?

C Wyne: I did ‘Cease and Sekkle’ (featuring Momo), Lwaki Ondaaza, Baliwa, Ghetto Yute Topowa, Vibes of War, Badmind People, Eno Tsunami, and Ettemu ( Kifeesi).

Monday Times: Where do you record your music?

C Wyne: I record my music from different producers, so I have worked with Crouch, Alan Okia, Oj Pro, Antonio Silver, Kally Weed, Danny T and Tradesman of Scotch Bonnet Records and many others.

Monday Times: Who writes your songs?

C Wyne: I am a great music composer I always write my songs in all genres and styles.Here versatility is the key.

Monday Times: What challenges have you faced in the music business?

C Wyne: A lot of different things but the biggest problem is if you don’t have money you can’t easily reach your music to people because you will need media houses of which you have to pay to play your content and that’s why they play bubble gum music and reject conscious music of which all people need to survive in this hard times we living now.

Monday Times: Where do you see yourself in five years?

C Wyne: In the next five years I believe I will be a National and International Artist representing and uplifting the Youth positively through my music so that I put a positive change to the future Generation for all my fans out there just keep on following and supporting my music and keep the positive vibe because we all one and it’s not a competition ting but a mission ting so let’s support our own music first.
