Fr Anthony Musaala says he is desperately seeking to return catholic church because its where he feels more home.

Musaala speaking at Christ the King church for an evening mass on October 22 said he has already started the process of seeking to re-enter mother church and is waiting only for the happy day when his wish will be granted.

“I feel loved here, I feel blessed, I feel like am home.” He said.

Musaala was welcomed with cheers and great ovations from the congregation of people who had come for evening mass. Others were fighting to take selfies with him.

Fr Musaala went ahead and posted on his Facebook page saying he had received affirming messages about his journey of u-turn to the Catholic Church.

“Thank you so much for your prayers and support, I already received messages affirming my return”, he writes.

He added “Like the prodigal son I am taking each stage on the journey in a considered way, hoping for that final joy, when the father says, ‘my son who was dead is a live, who was lost is found.'(Luke 15:24).”

Fr Musaala was suspended from the Catholic church on March 19, 2013 for advocating for marriage among Catholic priests. He later joined the Brazilian Catholic church on the invitation of Archbishop Leonard Lubega.
