Jack P: My first song was called Mummy. It was talking about orphans and where you lose your parents and no one is there to help you?

Monday Times: How did you come up with that song?

Jack P: It was my real life story. When my father passed away, I was in school and no one could help me in my ‘A’Level. I started singing to get money. The first song brought for me 200,000 shillings and I used it to pay school fees then I stopped in senior six.

Monday Times: What challenges have you faced in music?

Jack P: I have been facing problems of someone to promote my music. In West Nile people do not take music as a serious thing, so we suffer financially. People enjoy the music but you see the music. Our video quality in Arua is not all that good for other media houses nationally to play for other people to us.

Monday Times: What message do you have for your fans?

Jack P: Let them support us not only by hearing our songs, but let them help us by paying for our music. When you benefit someone, you can benefit from the person who is singing. They should support us financially.

Monday Times: Where do you see yourself in five years?

Jack P: Right now I have a studio. But in five years time, I hope to have a good recording studio with a live band.

Monday Times: What do we expect at your concert?

Jack P: The concert will be in Kikoni.I just want to show the people of Kampala that we have talent but there is no one is there to uplift us. Anyone who comes for the show should know that he or she has enjoyed for the money they paid for.

Monday Times: When people want to contact you what should they do?

Jack P: They can use this number 0771301881 and also I am on Facebook where I am called Jack P Boy
