The Katikkiro of Buganda Charles Peter Mayiga will be the guest of honour at Wycliffe Tugume alias Ykee Benda’s Singa Concert later this month.
Earlier today, the Katikiro endorsed the concert when he took a photo with the singer holding one of the concert flyers.
The excited Ykee Benda, took to his social media page to announce the great news to his fans and thank the Katikiro for accepting his invitation.
“Owekitiibwa Charles Peter Mayiga thank you very much. Ladies and gentlemen the Guest of has blessed the concert! The way God works,” he posted.
Since breaking through with his Farmer song in 2016, Ykee Benda has turned out to be one of the most respected singers in Uganda.
With a streak of hit songs within just over two years that he has been doing music actively, the singer is ready to hold his maiden concert.
The concert is slated for March 29th, 2019 at Kampala Serena Hotel.
The concert that is organized by Mpaka Records under which he is signed will always happen after every three years.
