Namugabi Florence ‘The Boss Lady” born 25th Jan 1987 is a Ugandan highly talented actress from Holly Imagez Film Company. She won several acting awards during her early days as an actress at both her Primary and Secondary school times. She attended St Mary`s primary school in Mityana then later Kakindu parents vocational school before joining St Joseph Secondary School still in Kakindu. She enrolled in Kyambogo University and recently completed her Film studies at YTBC performing Academy.
In 2013, she began her acting career in a movie titled Effuttwa and was the main character which was a very successful project. That same year, she starred in another project; The Mistake which was followed by The Eclipse in 2014.
Her other subsequent movies include; My Choice(2015), My House On Fire(2016), Sarah`s Note Book (2017) with Spanish producers, My Kingdom(2017) which is a TV Drama Series, Dilemma (2017), 27 Guns (2017).
She says that she got her acting inspiration way back when she was 5 years of age as she wanted to be a very famous person that could command respect from all over the world.
She is inspired by a Ugandan Actress; Mariam Ndagire and Jackie Appiah from Ghana.
She is quoted saying that she sees Ugandan Film Industry as one of the fastest growing Film Industries in the world as newly great works are produced every day.
She says she is so proud to have made her choice to join Film as she has gotten a lot of friends whom some became like a family and business associates in other ventures.
Asked of the Film makers she dreams of working with and she said how she wishes to one day work with her idol Mariam Ndagire, then Hassan Mageye, Mulindwa Richard, The Ebonies and probably one day to go and do a couple of projects in Nollywood.
Asked of her favorite Movies or TV series; she said she loves The Hostel, Deception and Hollywood`s Queen Sheebah and If Loving You Is Wrong.
The Boss Lady is currently the Executive Director of an Ushering Agency called Sparkling Angels found in Kampala, Uganda.
