Kyadondo East MP Robert Kyagulanyi Sentamu, also known as Bobi Wine has told Generals of the Uganda People’s Defense Forces (UPDF) that he is interested in the seat of President Yoweri Museveni. In other words, he aspires to become president of the Republic of Uganda.
Bobi Wine made the remarks at the funeral of Stella Njuba, the daughter of the late politician Sam Njuba.
“You Generals should not be worried about us. We are not fighting against anyone in Uganda. We are fighting for the rule of law,although we also want the seat of President Museveni but we follow the right channels,” Bobi Wine said.
His remarks left a lot of laughter in its trail and Generals who included Elly Tumwine and Henry Tumukunde were visibly smiling at his statements.
The late Stella Njuba died of cancer. She had previously declared intentions of standing as Woman Member of Parliament for Kyadondo in 2021.
