Esther House of Fashion and Food Supplements is a design house specialized in African designs and a wide variety of garments. It was started by Tripple Kaira Le Madame. Located at Kings Gate Mall in the heart of Kabalagala, the design house has existed for the last five years. It has several customers and they keep coming.
We spoke to Tripple Kaira Le Madame who explained to us about their work.
Monday Times: What exactly does Esther House of Fashion and Food Supplements do?
Tripple Kaira Le Madame: We are a one stop centre for African design. We have tailor made and already made African designs. We also have African design fabrics for sale. In store we have wedding gowns, changing dresses and bridal accessories for kids, men and women. We also have jewelry, and we bring shoes on order. We have shades, bags and many more accessories.
In the food supplements side we have products for diabetes, weight loss, high blood pressure, low blood pressure, anti-ageing, beauty packs, HIV symptoms treatment, health foods for kids, and pregnant women.
We also have products for people who are obese, men with big tummies and so on.
Monday Times: How different are you from others who offer the same kind of products?
Tripple Kaira Le Madame: We are very experienced. We have tailors from Tanzania and Congo. We also have very good quality products, and very good customer care.
For the health products our products are genuine.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Tripple Kaira Le Madame: We work from Monday to Saturday from 8.30am to 8.00pm.
Monday Times: Do you do delivery services?
Tripple Kaira Le Madame: Yes we do.We can deliver to East Africa and beyond.
Monday Times: How are your prices like?
Tripple Kaira Le Madame: Our prices are affordable. Students, working class, everyone can afford.
Monday Times: How do you tell that this is a good African design?
Tripple Kaira Le Madame: It depends on the material and also how the tailor has done it.
