Senior Police Officer, Assistant Inspector General of Police, Assan Kasingye has tested positive for COVID-19. Kasingye disclosed his status on twitter prompting followers to post back with sympathy and disbelief.
Kasingye’s positive result comes after a dramatic rise in COVID-19 cases, with media houses being the latest spots for the disease. BBS TV, NTV Uganda, Radio Pacis and NBS TV have announced that they each had registered COVID-19 cases.
