KAMPALA-As Uganda’s economy continues to struggle, businesses, households and government are all looking for ways of understanding the economy, and manage to cope with the current economic recession and find workable solutions to arising problems. In this environment, Belinda Namutebi, a brand strategist and business woman, has launched Uganda’s first YouTube Channel dedicated to covering and discussing business affairs.

In a post made on her Facebook account today, she explains what the public should expect from the channel.

You will agree with me that we spend most of the hours in the day in a business. It could be at a job or at a business you own. Those who are not yet employed use utilities and property that require to be to paid for. Generally, all of our lives revolves around the art of exchanging goods and services for money.

If you scan our social interactions, you will find very few business conversations; our media is largely made up of politics, entertainment and sports content that is sustained by business which never gets discussed.

So, starting Wednesday,21st June 2023, we launch our Strictly Bizness series on our YouTube channel- Strictly Bizness. This is a live discussion on the business of the day, following the deals, analyzing the Csuite dynamics and giving business oversight. I’m privileged to host the show.

Belinda Namutebi who is the business mind behind the Ondaba Clothing Brand, kickstarted her career at Power FM radio in Uganda before transitioning to Sanyu FM and then cutting her teeth in the cut throat world of media agencies, prior to setting off to launch her businesses and become a brand strategist.
