Followers of Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and House of Prayer Ministries were in disbelief when yesterday evening Pastor Bugingo went on Salt Television, to tell blatant lies about his wife Teddy Bugingo carrying guns to the church to assassinate him. The shocking allegations come as Pastor Teddy insists on going for prayers at a church she helped to start.
“If there were guns at the church, we know that Pastor Bugingo would himself have ordered for photos of the guns to be made public so that he discredits Pastor Teddy. There are no guns and he is only using this to block Pastor Teddy from coming to church,” a member of the Church who spoke on condition of anonymity told this newspaper.
Pastor Bugingo in his own words says that when he came to Church on Sunday, he delayed to enter, which made him survive the possible gunfire.
“Their plan was to make sure that House of Prayer is declared a place that no one should pray from again” Pastor Bugingo said.
It is noteworthy that House of Prayer Ministries has two entrances. The first entrance is where the general public enters from and the second entrance is where Pastor Bugingo enters from. It is highly unlikely that gunmen could access both ends, because they are heavily guarded. There is also strict checking of everyone who enters the church and there is no way anyone could pass with a gun without being detected.
