Since the drama of Pastor Aloysius Bugingo and his wife Pastor Teddy Bugingo started, Pastor Bugingo has been the villain while his wife Teddy has been the victim. From all the media reports and opinion on social media, Pastor Bugingo certainly had lost it. With powerful influencers such as Pastor Robert Kayanja speaking in her favor, Teddy was the darling of the public.
In a last minute bid to change the fortunes of his church and try to rebuild a little of what is lost, Pastor Bugingo has allegedly deployed Bwino Newspaper to attack the wife. It is public knowledge that Bwino which is as scandalous as other local vernacular tabloids (except Bukedde) is owned by Bugingo. It has been struggling to grow in a market dominated by Bukedde newspaper.
Our reporters tried to look through recent editions of Bwino, and could reliably confirm that each edition is used to bash Teddy Bugingo. Due to the falsehoods of the stories, Bwino has failed to cut through, breeding losses for the company pushing some reporters to question the move.
“We think we should focus on other matters instead of a man struggling to fight his wife,” a reporter who works with Bwino but did not want his identity disclosed said.
Bwino is a mainstream tabloid which comes out once a week.
