Eddie’s Salon Kamwokya is the leading beauty centre in the area. Located on Old Kira Road which stretches from Bukoto via Bobi Wine’s studio to Kamwokya, the Salon caters for a variety of services that include bridals and other forms of hair styling.
We visited the Salon today and spoke to Eddie the proprietor who told us great things about their work.
Monday Times: Good morning Mr.Eddie. We have a had a lot about your Salon, but we would like to find out from you what you have here in services.
Eddie: Thank you very much. We are a Unisex Salon meaning we do both men and women hairstyles. We do kids and all hair styles. We do Pedicure and Manicure, Make Up, Bridals and many more hair styles.
We also have Massage, Facial and Body Scrub.
Monday Times: How different is Eddie’s Salon from other Salons here or in Kampala?
Eddie: Our Salon is great. We do original dreadlocks which are plaited. We have an all in one package.
Monday Times: What are your working hours and days?
Eddie: We work from Monday to Sunday from 8am to 8pm.
Monday Times: Okay. Do you also do mobile services?
Eddie: We can talk about it although it is risky.
Monday Times: Do you sell hair oils and creams?
Eddie: No we do not. We just used them with our customers. But if someone wants to buy we can recommend to them where to buy and the right types to get.
Monday Times: Where are you located?
Eddie: We are on Old Kira Road Kamwokya at Fire Base Building which other people call Semakokiro Plaza.
