Gospel Singer Don Moen shall hold one concert in Kampala, Isaac Rucci, a media executive and promoter has revealed. The one concert shall be held at Kololo Airstrip on Friday February 8, 2019.
For long promoters had tried to bring over the legendary singer, with the first attempt having been in 2015. However a hefty performance fee dissuaded the team that had offered to bring Moen to Kampala.
The 68 year old singer started his career in 1984 and has over the years delivered hit after hit to a global audience of fans.
When asked about Moen’s visit, Rucci confirmed it and said
“Sure we have confirmed that Don Moen shall be in Kampala on Friday February 8, 2019.”
Don Moen describes himself as a praise and worship leader.
Information on Moen’s website describes the singer as
“A songwriter who has written more than 100 songs. He is a worship leader who has led worship on every continent but Antarctica and recorded numerous albums. He is a businessman and producer who has produced and directed hundreds of successful projects.”
