David Male is a long serving professional special hire driver in Kampala.He has spent 23 years in the business and has a lot of experience.
He is also the chairman of FNQ Club Stage for Special Hire Drives in Ntinda. FNQ Club Stage is near Tusky’s in the middle of Ntinda, directly opposite Apex House.
Mr. David Male is a welcoming and friendly person, who is happy with what he has achieved in the transportation business.
He told us that all his colleagues at the stage are trusted and serve diligently their customers.
As a Special Hire Drive Professional, he drives to any part of the country as long as he agrees with the client on the fee.
He works Monday to Sunday throughout the day and night.
Mr.David Male also has professional certified drivers in his books for recommendations. If anyone wants a driver, they can call him and he can be able to assist them to get one.
He can also test a car for someone to find out if it is working properly before the person buys it.
He says that there is one challenge in the business because of growing insecurity.
“Right now I advise my drivers to be careful and make sure that they make our clients reach their doorsteps. We no longer leave them at the gate. I also ensure that they do not drive with their windows open because anything can be thrown into the car. Other than that we are okay and work is always good,” Mr. David Male said.
