Seasoned Journalist Andrew Mujuni Mwenda is breathing fire, claiming that National Union Party (NUP) spokesperson Joel Senyoni is telling lies that he picked forms for all other positions but not presidential candidate.
Mwenda a few days ago shocked many when he trotted to NUP headquarters in Kamwokya to pick forms. He said he intended to contest against Party President Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu (also known as Bobi Wine).
“I visited their head office, registered as a member, then picked forms to become a presidential candidate,” Mwenda said.
In response, Senyonyi said that Mwenda picked forms for local councils and not for the presidential slot.
“The forms he picked are for those seeking to be MPs, LC 5 chairpersons and Youth leaders,” Senyonyi stated.
In response, Mwenda posted on his twitter account that
“These are the forms I picked and are now filling for presidential candidate on NUP ticket! Yet spokesperson, Joel Senyonyi, had the audacity to claim I picked forms for youths and local councils. Can he show how this form is not for president but for local councils?” Mwenda states.
It is not clear where the push and shove shall end but it is evident that it is not about to end.
