Quality International Nursery and Elementary School Kyanja, is a hallmark of excellence in childhood education. Conveniently located on Manchester Road along Kisaasi Kyanja Road, close to Prime Petrol Station, the school offers nursery and primary section, the latter having recently started.
We paid a visit to the school today and held a discussion with the amiable Madam Christine, the Director of the School. Our interview with her is as follows:
Monday Times: Thank you for setting up such a wonderful facility for parents and their children. We wanted to understand, what services do you exactly offer here?
Quality International Nursery and Elementary School Kyanja:
Our school offers nursery and primary education services. We have recently started enrolling from Primary One to Primary Four. We specialize in childcare, special needs and primary education.Our nursery facility provides a service to children of six months and above.
In terms of services, we have both curricula and extra curricula services. Meaning we teach in class and we engage our learners in activities that stimulate their brains and enhances their talents effectively.
Monday Times: Okay, this if fantastic. How different are you from others who offer a similar service?
Quality International Nursery and Elementary School Kyanja:

All in all, our main strength is in our name-quality. We pay close attention to the teachers we hire, our curriculum, our extra-curricula activities and the facilities that we have. We can also say that we boast of accessibility because our school is only twenty metres from the main road.
We care for our learners well and make sure that each one of them is attended to in ways that help them to learn and grow. When you bring your child to us, he or she leaves a positively transformed person.
We have transport available if the parents would like that service as well.
Monday Times: Interesting. So what are your opening hours and days?
Quality International Nursery and Elementary School Kyanja: We are open all week, but in terms of picking and dropping, we expect parents to come anytime after 6am and they can pick their children anytime before 7pm.
Monday Times: Okay. Do you have mobile services? Meaning, if I am so busy and cannot reach the school, can you send to my work place registration forms so that I register my child?
Quality International Nursery and Elementary School Kyanja: Yes we can but we strongly advice that the parent comes and at least sees where we operate from. A parent must be able to know where their child is going to study and who his or her handlers are. But if you call us, we can always reach an agreement on that.
We have online registration through our web portal which permits parents to register online, if they are unable to come up to the school for the first time.
Monday Times: Great. Now with all this quality that you offer, what are your prices like?
Quality International Nursery and Elementary School Kyanja: Our fees is only UGX 900,000 (Nine Hundred Thousand Uganda Shillings).
Monday Times: Okay. We have a question that parents are so much interested in. If my child is not performing well in class, how do you handle it?
Quality International Nursery and Elementary School Kyanja: Well we know that all learners have different levels of ability. But normally performance is determined by several factors. So we first try to understand why they are not performing well. Maybe they will need more attention, or a slower pace of delivery of class work to them, or they might be having some challenges at home. Whichever the case, we find out why and work out possible solutions to the problem.
Monday Times: Okay, this is great. So where are you located in terms of physical location?
