Popular Radio Presenter, Rebecca Alice Jjingo, is slated to celebrate her career in a concert dubbed ‘My Trek.’
The concert which comes 18 years after she set out on her musical journey will kick off at Club Obligatto in the heart of Kampala, on April 26, 2019. It shall then run over to various locations including Tavern Woods in Kabusu.
Rebecca Jjingo who has built a name as a radio presenter on Beat FM, started out singing in Church, before she was drated into Kato Lubwama’s Band Diamond Production. In Diamond Production, she worked with the likes of Angela Kalule, Betty Mpologoma, and Roy Kapale.
The organizers of the concert have promised fireworks to make her fans happy.
“Rebecca has been practicing for this show for over three months.It is a fusion of music and dance. Several other musicians shall escort her and it will be a great experience,” a member of the organizing team said.
Meanwhile her fellow singers like Maureen Nantume have taken to promoting the concert on their Facebook pages, showing her solidarity that is known of musicians.
The ‘My Trek’ concert is supported by Sure Deal, SanyukaTelevision and Beat FM.
