As the story continues to unfold about the fraudulent acquisition of wealth by self-styled Tycoon Don Nasser, more details continue to emerge. After being grabbed in the ceiling of his unfinished house in Kira, police has moved to hold his posh cars, with information suggesting that they will be sold to pay back people Nasser had defrauded.

The news took Kampala by storm following a report that Don Nasser (also known as Nasser Nduhukire) was being accused of conning an American named Johnny Hill of USD 5.5 million (an estimated UGX 20 billion). Johnny Hill claims he gave Nasser the money to procure 75 kilogrammes of gold, yet he did not deliver as promised.

Like other ‘Tycoons’ whose wealth remains unexplained, police has said if found guilty, they would auction the cars and other assets in the names of Nasser.

Police also took time to carry off Don Nasser’s Cross Country.
