Radio personality and actor, Patricko Mujuuka has scooped a mega brand ambassador deal with Equity Bank. Patricko was unveiled to the press at the Equity Bank Supreme Branch on Wednesday November 15, 2017.
The move to appoint Mujuuka comes as major commercial entities bank on popular personalities to push their brands. Mujuuka in response to the appointment said,
“I am glad Equity Bank chose me to represent them as brand ambassador. Equity bank is a big brand and it’s going to grow bigger and bigger with the new innovations coming in”.
Equity Bank is keen on reaching out to the business community where Patricko Mujuuka has significant appeal. However, their Executive Director Anthony Kituuka,said Mujuuka’s appointment was not that easy. He revealed that they evaluated 18 candidates before zeroing down on Mujuuka.
“We spent a lot of time looking at people that can communicate to Ugandans what exactly Equity Bank is about and finally we zeroed on Patriko Mujuuka, who has a strong brand. During our long-term partnership with him, he is going to help us to reach out to his audiences; he can cut across the range of our potential customers including; lawyers, farmers and students among others. We have already taken him to Nairobi to get knowledge about the group. At Equity Bank, we remain creative and innovative” Mr. Kituuka said.
Patricko Mujuuka is also a brand ambassador of Johnnie Walker.
